Jason N. Hara’s photography reflects his insatiable quest to showcase nature, people and the built environment. Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, Jason learned early on to be respectful and appreciative of nature’s beautiful surroundings. Growing up in a multicultural society, has given him a colorful perspective on life. In both old and modern built environments, his images gives reverence to the craftsmanship and technology of man’s ingenuity.

Jason is a graduate of Wheaton College, in Norton, Massachusetts, where he earned a degree in Film and New Media and a minor in Sociology. With an interest in travel and a quest to learn other cultures, Jason studied abroad at DIS, the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. While there, he traveled throughout Europe learning, observing and capturing people, places, and the rhythm of societies.
